Tags are a very useful feature for adding attributes to certain customers to group them or make them stand out - the decision is yours when it comes to how you use the tags.
This is what the orange tags look like in the customer list - look at the far right of the screen:
And this is what the orange tags look like in the customer profiles:
And, aside from tags being a very useful way to differentiate or even group customers, you can search by tags!
As a short example, in the screenshot above; We have used tags to quickly identify which city or region the customer is in & a numerical code that means something important.
How to add a tag to a customer
In the tags field you will see placeholder text: "Type something then press enter."
You may begin typing whatever the most useful tag is for you and your organisation. When you are done typing, press enter so that the orange tag is displayed in the customer profile.
Single tag:
If you are adding more than one tag, you must ensure that they are typed and added one after the other, as separate tags - by pressing enter after each one.
Multiple tags:
When you are done adding the relevant tags, please ensure that you click SAVE CHANGES. If you do not, your changes or added tags will not be saved to the customer.
