Reassign Customers + Leads

How do I move customers or leads to a different user?

If, at any stage, a lead or customer needs to be moved to a different user, you can follow these steps to transfer the lead or customer along with all of the communication between them and your Organisation.

This can also be done when creating a new user.

If you are a Captain or an Officer, you may reassign any leads or customers (even if they are Dormant) to anyone in your Organisation.

If you are a Sailor, you may not reassign any customers, only individual leads.

How to Reassign - Option 1

In the Customer list, below the filter bar, you will find this button:

This option will only allow you to reassign customers from one user to another. Once you click on Reassign, you will be directed to this page and here you will need to select the from user from the drop-down.

Once you have selected the correct user, you will need to select whether you are moving Prospects, Clients or Dormant customers.

Select the correct option.

You will then need to search for the customers you'd like to move over:

When you click on the name of the selected transfer, it will pop up under to user.

Next, you'll need to select the user (in the drop-down) to whom the customer will now be assigned.

Note: You may transfer more than one customer at a time - ensure that you select the correct ones.

When you are satisfied that all of the information is correct, you may click Submit.

You will be asked to confirm your assignments.

Please click Confirm.

If you wish to Transfer All, please note that you are transferring all Prospects, Clients, and Dormant accounts to another user.

Please make sure that this is what you would like to do, and then press Submit and confirm your action.

How to Reassign - Option 2

In the main menu, under Organisation and then Reassign, you will see customers and leads as your two options. Click on which you'd like to move to a new user and follow the same steps as above.
